I am a Research Associate working at Carnegie Mellon University under Tom Mitchell. I spent the first two years of my undergrad at UC San Diego, after which I transferred to CMU where I got my B.S. in Computer Science. Currently, I am involved in two projects.

The first involves creating a Learning from Instruction Agent (LIA), an Android agent which the end user can teach. More specifically, I am exploring how to use examples and language to create concept classifiers.

The second project involves creating a framework for neural network architecture search called DeepArchitect, and using that framework to try different ideas for architecture search.
